HUDSON, NH — June 1, 2022: Approved Sheet Metal, a leading sheet metal fabrication company based in Hudson, New Hampshire, announced today, the acquisition of Nashua Fabrication Inc., a complementary business that will add to Approved Sheet Metal's growing list of services and capabilities. Approved Sheet Metal has welcomed all 10 employees from Nashua Fabrication to its team, which now totals 36 people.
This acquisition gives Approved Sheet Metal the rare and valuable skills to fabricate, polish, grind, and finish show-quality polished tubular stainless steel parts, with a focus on pharmaceutical and biomedical applications. In addition to these new capabilities, Approved Sheet Metal has also purchased and installed an AMADA 3kW ENSIS 3015 RI Fiber Laser, the most advanced laser cutting technology on the market, and recently brought on a third shift to meet increased production demands.
Approved Sheet Metal will relocate to Nashua Fabrication’s facility in Hudson, New Hampshire. The combined company will be fully operational in its new building in June 2021 and will maintain ITAR certification and ISO 9001 compliance throughout the entire transition period.

It’s also a growing hub for highly qualified machining talent.”
In addition to Approved Sheet Metal, Mercier owns Macy Industries in Hooksett, New Hampshire, a custom metal fabrication company founded by his father, and LAD Welding in Concord, New Hampshire, another custom welding, and metal fabrication company. His desire to continue growing complementary businesses in different segments of metal fabrication led to his acquisition of Approved Sheet Metal (previously April Metalworks) in February 2020.
As a second-generation businessman and the owner of a growing family of New Hampshire companies, Mercier is dedicated to building a positive, family-like culture that empowers employees to continue learning and advancing their skills.

On June 25th, employees from Mercier’s companies will gather for a day of go-karting, food trucks, and fun to celebrate Approved Sheet Metal’s acquisition of Nashua Fabrication and the companies’ growing family of team members.
